The Globe and Mail’s 2018 Young Lions Qualifying Competitions comprised of 409 teams, a record high! Vying for the chance to compete at the official Young Lions Competitions in Cannes. The non-profit that was selected was 60 million girls. 60 million girls is a non-profit focusing on girls education in developing countries.
The competitors were tasked with helping 60 million girls to promote their new program Mobile Learning Labs. Each category was to focus on fundraising, volunteering or building awareness. There were some great pieces of work submitted, see below for the most notable and the winning teams work.
As Canada’s only official representative, The Globe and Mail sponsors each winning Gold team to attend the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity, and represent Canada in the Young Lions Competitions, June 18-22.
